Our story
Banner Beach is the towel our founder, Jessica, couldn't find anywhere at home. So she made it.
01Found abroad
While traveling abroad, I discovered a thin, woven towel that was smooth on one side and terry on the other. I had never seen anything like it. It was light, easy to pack, and I could wash all of our towels in one load. To me, it was the perfect beach towel, a refreshing change from the bulky towels I knew.
02Back home
When I returned home, I wanted to find these towels and introduce them to more people. Here in Arizona, pools are a way of life. I felt these were the next generation of beach towels, made just as much for the poolside as the shore. I searched high and low but couldn't find what I was looking for. So I set out to create my own.
03Two years in the making
After plenty of trial and error, I found the right manufacturer in Turkey to bring my vision to life. Two years of research, design, and manufacturing went into creating the Banner towel, made with 100% organic Turkish cotton and certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.
04Made to match
Along with the smooth/terry design, I wanted something with more style: beautiful towels that would look just as good at home as they did on the beach. I thoughtfully chose colors and patterns that work together, so everyone could pick a favorite and still have them coordinate beautifully.
Designed here in the USA and made in Turkey, our towels bring together beauty, softness, absorbency, and a lighter feel.
05For the moments together
As a mother, I know how much the moments together matter. The family beach trip. An afternoon by the pool with friends. The kids asking for one more swim. Those experiences are at the heart of Banner Beach. I also wanted to create a towel you'd love taking out on your own, whether you're heading out for an early surf session or enjoying a quiet hour in the sun.
Beautiful enough to love, practical enough to bring along.
I believe a beach towel should be beautiful enough to love and practical enough to bring along. Soft when you wrap up, easy to carry, and ready for wherever the day takes you.
I created Banner Beach to make the perfect beach towel, and I believe we have. I call it the beach towel, perfected.

Noelle and her daughter Olivia run Wellmade Studio. Noelle guides a vintage chainstitch machine entirely by hand: no pattern file, no automatic stitch placement, so no two monograms come out exactly alike.
