Ever bought a beautiful towel that barely dries you?
A traditional Turkish towel is flat-woven on both sides. It looks lovely and packs small, then leaves you damp after a swim.
Ours keeps the smooth woven front and adds a back of soft, absorbent cotton loops, the terry you know from a classic bath towel. Lay it woven side down, dry off on the terry.

The towel we always dreamed of, so we made it ourselves.
It started with a towel found abroad: thin, smooth on one side, terry on the other, and the whole family's towels fit in one wash.
We couldn't find one like it at home, so we spent two years designing it with a Turkish mill.

Will it actually dry me off?
Yes. The back is terry, the same soft, absorbent cotton loops as a classic bath towel, so you dry off on that side. The smooth woven front is the side that goes down on sand or a lounger.
How big is it?
Each towel is 35" x 71" (89 x 180 cm) and weighs 370 GSM.
Which side goes down on the sand?
The woven side. It is smooth and sand-resistant, so you shake it out and fold it up when you leave.
Can I add a monogram?
Yes. Choose Add Custom Embroidery above the Add to cart button and type the initials or name you want.
Will the colors match my other Banner towels?
Every gingham and stripe is built on the same palette, so towels in the same color sit together as one set. The bundles put them together for you at 15% off.
